Pam has lived in Spring Lake Park for seventeen years.

She graduated from Irondale High School in 1982 and Bethel College in 1986 (maiden name Mens).

She is married to Brian, and has two sons, Kevin and Justin.

Highlights of her 24 year teaching career include:

• Teaching at Pines School in Lino Lakes
• Taught in elementary, middle school, and high school settings
• Providing instruction in Health, Physical Education, Social Studies, and Special Education
• Coached middle school, high school, and college level sports (fastpitch, basketball, soccer)
• Taught in four school districts (Mounds View, Anoka-Hennepin, Spring Lake Park, Columbia Heights)
• Department Chair
• Wrote curriculum in Mounds View and Anoka-Hennepin districts, and Pines School
• Served on the Minnesota State College and University Trustee Candidate Advisory Council (TCAC)
• Published author, co-authored a book on character development lessons for youth
• Golf instructor for 26 years.

Other Community Involvement

Volunteer coach: pre-kindergarten through high school (T-ball, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer)

Member New Brighton Christian Church since 1976 (youth group leader, Sunday school teacher, vacation Bible school teacher, education committee, drama ministry, music ministry)

Christian Children's Fund sponsor 1982-2009; currently a sponsor of International Children's Network

Interests

Spending time with family and friends

Playing basketball, softball, golf, weight lifting
